Threshold
An 8-Week Rite of Passage for New and Expecting Fathers
What is Threshold?
Threshold is an 8-week, in-person rite of passage for new and expecting fathers. In a culture that leaves men uninitiated and often unprepared for the realities of fatherhood, Threshold offers a container of brotherhood, ritual, and embodied practice to help men step more fully into their role. This is a space to reconnect with yourself, with other fathers walking the same path, and with the deeper source that holds us all—so you can meet fatherhood with presence, courage, and love.
What You Can Expect
Over the course of eight weeks, you’ll be guided through a progression of experiences designed to strengthen, challenge, and open you. Expect to engage in earth-based ritual, initiatory challenges, and brotherhood, alongside practices such as breathwork, Internal Family Systems (IFS), EFT Tapping, shadow work, and Kambo (optional). Together, these modalities create a powerful blend of ancient and modern pathways into transformation.
You’ll be supported in somatic and emotional integration, invited to explore your own story, and encouraged to shed what no longer serves while stepping into a truer version of yourself as a father. We’ll close with a family ceremony, weaving your growth back into the circle of your home.
In our culture, men are rarely given meaningful rites of passage. Too often, fatherhood begins without preparation—leaving men to stumble forward alone. Yet birth and the arrival of children are as wild, unpredictable, and transformative as any initiatory fire.
Threshold is an effort to restore what has been forgotten: the need for fathers to be initiated, to be held in community, to face their fears and burdens, and to walk consciously across the threshold into fatherhood. This is not about perfection—it’s about being real, grounded, and willing to grow into the man your family needs.
Why Fatherhood Needs Initiation
About Your Facilitator
This all organically grew into the founding of the Alchemy of Brotherhood, a unique men’s group that has been running for over two years. It’s a space where men gather to offer each other radical presence, accountability, and support—a container where men can fall apart in the arms of their brothers and find strength in being fully seen. Most of the men in this group are fathers, and together we’ve cultivated a thriving community of friendship, healing, and growth.
Additionally, for the past seven years, I’ve also worked as a professional psychedelic facilitator, holding hundreds of journeys for people healing trauma, shedding cultural conditioning, and reconnecting with spirit. My practice includes Conscious Connected Breathwork, Internal Family Systems (IFS), EFT Tapping, and Kambo facilitation.
The truth is, I don’t pretend to have fatherhood fully figured out. I stumble, I make mistakes, I miss the mark. But I am committed to showing up, to doing it better every day, and to holding myself accountable to the highest prayer of who I can become. That’s the heart of Threshold: not perfection, but presence—an invitation for us as men to walk this path together.
Hi, my name is Hart.
I’m a father to a 7-year-old boy and a 4-year-old girl, and my journey into fatherhood began at 24 with an unexpected pregnancy. At the time, I didn’t have a career, a strong community, or any real preparation for what was ahead. That first year was overwhelming—nursing challenges, financial struggle, exhaustion, and the raw fear of not feeling ready. What I was missing then was initiation.
In 2019, I started a fathers’ group with close friends, meeting every other week with ritual, intention, and honesty. Over time this grew into a true community of men and families who supported one another through the challenges of life. Before the birth of my second child, I asked my brothers to create an initiatory rite of passage for me—held in prayer and ceremony—that cracked me open and changed the way I entered fatherhood. I’ve since guided similar ceremonies for other men stepping into their own roles as fathers.
